Loved the place, had a brilliant stay in a pleasant town. Its staff were very amiable. Hotel's location was prime, by a mini roundabout. Plus, it was right by relaxed conservatory which overlooked the river, the river Bank and town centre & buses.

really good welcome but limited parking space
The warm welcome. The breakfast options were diverse with flawless execution.
The limited parking space required some negotiation with other vehicles.

Make sure to inquire about early check-in options, as it enhanced our experience despite standard check-in being at 5 pm.

We had an awesome getaway with friends! We explored the fine Dartmoor scenery and relaxed at one of the best beaches, perfect for surfing. The hosts were fantastic. They made everything easy for us, and the beds were super comfy. It's a great spot for anyone looking for a fun group vacation.
Nothing to complain about! Everything was great during our two-night stay.

The Double Room was really cozy and had everything I needed. It was a tight fit, but it felt snug, kind of like being wrapped up in a warm blanket. The bathroom was tiny, but I managed just fine. I slept really well without any noise issues, a plus! Just a small journey from the main road and the town center, so that was convenient too.

Charming spot by the river
Had a fab 5-night stay! The hosts were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing-loved the outdoor dining area! The room was cozy, but a bit snug for our family with kids. Would've appreciated more space, but everything else was just perfect.

I had a lovely stay for 2 nights where Paul and Carla went above and beyond to, even with our late arrival. The sun terrace was perfect for lounging, and we enjoyed the cozy leisure room to unwind. The room felt a bit cramped and warm, but the provided fans really helped! 😊

The breakfast was a gem, proper scrumptious cooked to order. The friendly vibes from the host. Plus, the location's spot-on-easy peasy stroll to Tavistock's buzzing centre. The views over the river added an extra splash of charm!
Alright, the duvet was a touch too toasty for my liking, and the washbasin felt more like a hand-washing station.

Perfect stay for solo travelers!
I stayed for 1 night and it was more than I had hoped for. The breakfast was just good, with fresh fruits and a full English cooked to perfection. It was served in a conservatory overlooking the river! And I must say, the host was cute, seemed like family right from the start.
It wasn't the cheapest option, but considering the quality, it was still worth every penny.

I had a really comfortable stay here, as the central location made it easy to explore the town and nearby attractions, including the lovely coast and Preston Docks, which was just a 15-minute drive away.
